What the town knew
These are not official releases. They are photographs of documents locked inside the Pine Haven Hollow municipal records room, copied before the files could be reboxed, relabeled, and moved out of public reach.
The Beneviento family was not lost in an accident. The records point to a town-backed killing in the 1940s, followed by witness intimidation, rewritten ledgers, missing notices, and annual festival language designed to make the story look like harmless folklore.
The name repeated in the margins is Isabelle Beneviento. Sightings of her ghost begin after the family file is sealed. Every later disappearance is routed through the same office.
If this mirror goes dark, print everything. They already scrubbed the public index once.
